The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole, but true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows, and the beauty of a woman with passing years only grows! --Audrey Hepburn's Beauty Tips

Correcting Blemishes

Happy New Year! :D

One of my post was about Nyx HD Photogenic and how it covered pimples and scars.
It was heavy and was just good for photo purposes. But if your goal is to be photo perfect and at the same time looks "natural" then I suggest using another foundation.

For Paula, I used Graftobian Creme and Corrector.
It was still full coverage but light on face.  It looks good in person and in camera. It does not look like you have a bunch of foundation on your face.

For red blemishes: Mix Green corrector with the foundation used as base. That will make your base contrast the reddish blemishes. Then if it's grey blemishes, mix a pinkish corrector with your base color. Spot conceal after you have covered first your face with base.

Step 1: Find your base. Use a sponge / beauty blender and apply all over face

Step 2: Check the color of your blemishes. Green cancels red. Grey contrasts pink.
Grab the shade for correction and mix it with your base in step 1. Then spot correct those blemishes using a thin concealing brush.

Step 3: Set it with powder

These products gave me my favorite output:

Light on skin, looks natural in person and on camera.
Below is an un-retouched image. The swollen acne still shows but at least it is no longer reddish.
